My girls have been at the swim school from the age of 6, and each started with a huge aversion to water and getting their faces wet. Now 12 and 10, one of them is the best swimmer in our family and has joined the squad-level lessons, while the other has a lot of fun and has gained so much confidence.
I’d put their success down to several things:
– knowledgeable kid-friendly instructors who care, thorough assessments and great progression policies, and small class sizes.
